The 488 Challenge Evo stands out through a radical redesign of its bodywork. Ferrari’s engineers, together with the Centro Stile design department, created a shape that generates up to 50 percent more downforce than its predecessor. The new front bumper with larger air intakes, the improved splitter, and the completely redesigned rear wing ensure optimal airflow and maximum grip through corners. Every detail serves performance, from the air guides inside the wheel arches to the optimized underbody.

Under the hood is the famous 3.9 liter twin turbo V8, based on the engine from the 488 GTB but tuned for track use. With around 670 horsepower and a lightning fast seven speed sequential gearbox, the Challenge Evo delivers explosive acceleration and razor sharp responsiveness. The electronic systems, including traction control and the F1 Trac system, are specially calibrated for different track conditions, allowing drivers to get the most out of every lap.

The chassis setup of the 488 Challenge Evo is focused entirely on precision and stability. Ferrari refined the dampers, brake balance, and steering response to make the car more predictable and efficient, especially in fast corner combinations. The Brembo braking system features improved cooling to prevent brake fade during long races.
