The Lamborghini Urus marks an important chapter in the brand’s history. It was Lamborghini’s first modern SUV and one of the very first super SUVs in the world. With the Urus, Lamborghini managed to combine its signature sporty DNA with the everyday practicality of a luxury off roader.
Under the hood sits a 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 engine producing an impressive 650 horsepower and 850 newton meters of torque. This engine is paired with an eight speed automatic transmission and an advanced all wheel drive system. The result is spectacular acceleration from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 305 kilometers per hour, performance figures that belong to the world of supercars rather than SUVs.
In terms of design, the Urus is unmistakably a Lamborghini. The sharp lines, wide wheel arches and aggressive front end clearly refer to iconic models such as the Aventador and the Huracán. Yet the Urus also offers a new kind of elegance and functionality. The higher seating position, spacious interior and luxurious finish make it perfectly suitable for everyday driving. The cabin is filled with leather, Alcantara and carbon fiber, and can be fully customized through Lamborghini’s Ad Personam program.
On the technical side, the Urus features adaptive air suspension, active roll stabilization and rear wheel steering, resulting in exceptionally dynamic handling both on and off the road. Several driving modes including Strada, Sport, Corsa, Terra and Neve adapt the performance and suspension to the conditions.
