The Ferrari F12TDF

One of only 799 units produced and available exclusively to existing Ferrari collectors. The name sounds special and it truly is.

The F12TDF is named after the 250 GT Speciale from the nineteen fifties which won the famous French road race three consecutive years in nineteen fifty six, nineteen fifty seven and nineteen fifty eight, as well as the Targa Florio and other sepia tinted classics. The name was suggested by none other than Piero Ferrari himself, inspired by earlier conversations with his father in the era when Ferrari road cars effortlessly transitioned to the racetrack.

The TDF is like a spider with more venom. Or rather, the most powerful naturally aspirated V12 in the world at its introduction in twenty sixteen, capable of converting air and fuel quickly enough to produce 780 horsepower at 8,500 rpm. Torque is 705 Nm and delivered at 6,750 rpm. Thanks to these figures, the F12TDF accelerates from 0 to 100 km h in 2.9 seconds. It goes from 0 to 200 km h in 7.9 seconds. The top speed is a staggering 340 km h.

It weighs no less than 110 kilograms less than the standard production model which is of course a significant difference. Combine that with an improved chassis, 40 horsepower more power, upshifts that are 30 milliseconds faster and downshifts 40 milliseconds faster, rear wheel steering and you have a monster. The difference this TDF makes compared to the standard F12, which was already an incredibly good and advanced car, is astonishing.

The example we are offering is an Atelier car finished in the stunning Rosso F1 2007. The paint, built up from multiple layers, makes the car both classy and very sporty. In addition, the exterior carbon beautifully matches the Grigio Opaco wheels. This car was clearly configured by a true enthusiast. It is also impressive that the first and only owner selected all optional carbon features when configuring the car. For example, the carbon fog light covers and carbon headlight housings are options we rarely see on the TDF.

The interior is also remarkable, featuring a full Blu Medio Alcantara interior with Rosso stitching and accents that appear on the seat belts and headrest logos. The interior is a clear nod to the past, as this color scheme is one often seen in Ferraris from the nineteen sixties and seventies. Furthermore, there are important options such as parking sensors, black exhaust tips, carbon air intakes, carbon hub caps and many Alcantara features. All in all, this F12TDF is a special specification and one of the most beautiful we have ever had. The fact that only 799 units of the F12TDF were produced makes it a true addition to any collection and a solid investment for the future.
