The 2005 Ford GT is a modern classic that writes American supercar history. As a tribute to the legendary GT40 race cars of the 1960s, Ford released this impressive street car as part of the brand's centennial celebration.

Under the hood sits a 5.4-liter supercharged V8 producing 550 horsepower and 678 Nm of torque. This powerful engine allows the GT to sprint from zero to one hundred kilometres per hour in about 3.5 seconds and reach a top speed of over 330 kilometres per hour. The engine note is deep and unmistakably American – a roaring V8 with the distinctive whine of the supercharger on top.

The GT’s design is a masterpiece that honors the past with modern engineering. The low, muscular body is instantly recognizable as a descendant of the original GT40, featuring signature elements such as the round headlights, pronounced shoulder lines, and striking air intakes in the doors.

The interior is purposeful and minimalist, focusing on the driving experience rather than luxury. The fixed seats are integrated into the chassis, while the steering wheel and pedals are adjustable, providing a low, race-ready seating position.

What makes this particular example especially remarkable is that it is one of only 101 Ford GTs officially exported to Europe. The European variants are extremely rare and highly sought after by collectors, not only because of their scarcity but also due to subtle differences from their American counterparts. European specifications include modified lighting, different bumper inserts, and certain engine adjustments to comply with European regulations.

To top it off, a Geiger Performance exhaust system has been fitted afterward, bringing the V8 even more to life.
