The limited Ferrari 599 GTO (Gran Turismo Omologato) is the ultimate version of the 599 GTB. It is essentially a street version of the Ferrari 599XX. The public debut took place at the end of April 2010 at the Beijing International Motor Show. The GTO weighs almost one hundred kilograms less than the standard 599 GTB. This was achieved in part by making a number of components from carbon fiber, such as the front splitter, side skirts and double diffuser at the rear, and in the interior (parts of the console, dashboard and seats). Partly due to this weight reduction, the GTO is a full second faster than the Enzo on the Fiorano circuit. The shifting, steering response, throttle response - literally everything feels different and more sporty!

About our 599 GTO:
Our example is finished in the exceptionally rare and striking ‘Nero Opaco’, making it one of just four European-delivered 599 GTOs originally specified in this colour. The matte black exterior is complemented by Rosso Corsa brake calipers and gloss black wheels, creating an exceptionally aggressive configuration that perfectly suits the character of the GTO.

The interior is finished in 'Nero' leather and features Daytona-style upholstery with contrasting Rosso details. The specification includes Alcantara elements, carbon-fibre sill plates, full-electric seats and red stitching, creating a purposeful yet refined cabin.

Furthermore, the car is equipped with a desirable selection of factory options, including carbon-fibre luggage and headlight tubs, tinted rear windows, an athermic windscreen, rear parking sensors, satellite navigation, a NavTrak satellite alarm system and the BOSE Hi-Fi system.

Originally delivered new in Europe, this 599 GTO has had just two owners from new and remains in exceptional condition. Importantly, the car is completely accident-free and still retains its original factory paintwork. Combined with the extremely rare Nero Opaco specification, this makes it a particularly special and highly collectible example.

A truly spectacular 599 GTO and, as one of only four European examples finished in Nero Opaco, a car that would make an exceptional addition to any serious Ferrari collection.
