Every 10 years, Ferrari, a leading supercar brand, surprises the world with an ultra-modern, limited-edition supercar that not only breaks records but also reinforces the manufacturer's identity and desirability. Their latest masterpiece, a tribute to Ferrari's expertise, is called the LaFerrari. Introduced at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show as the “ultimate” Ferrari, the LaFerrari showcased all the know-how of the engineers and designers in Maranello. Internally referred to at Ferrari as the F150, the car was developed based on findings from testing the FXX development prototype. It is Ferrari's first fully modern design and also the first hybrid street car: its naturally aspirated V12, coupled with a HY-KERS system, delivers an astonishing 963 horsepower and a combined torque of 900 Nm. The power unit impresses not only with its performance and high-revving character but also, and especially, with the sound it produces.
