In 1987, Ferrari decided to do something special for its 40th anniversary. The result was the F40, a car that instantly captured the hearts of car enthusiasts all over the world. It was Enzo Ferrari’s final masterpiece, a car he personally approved. With its 2.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine producing 478 horsepower, the F40 delivered truly spectacular performance for its time. The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h took just 4.1 seconds, and with a top speed of 324 km/h, it was the world’s fastest production car back then.

The F40 was designed with one goal in mind: to be as fast as possible. That’s why you won’t find any luxuries such as air conditioning, power windows, or even a radio. Its carbon fiber and Kevlar body kept the weight down to just 1,100 kg! The iconic design, featuring the signature red color and large rear wing, makes the car instantly recognizable. Between 1987 and 1992, only 1,311 examples were produced, making the F40 a true rarity. Today, it’s considered one of the last “pure” supercars, a car built purely for driving pleasure, without compromise.

For collectors, the F40 has become a holy grail, as reflected in its ever-rising value. It’s an absolute must-have in any serious Ferrari collection.

This 1990 Ferrari F40 is finished in the iconic Rosso Corsa with a red fabric interior and is presented in exceptional, near-mint condition. The car has only 12,191 kilometres on the clock and remains remarkably original, with much of the factory protective film still present on several interior components. It is an accident-free example with completely original paint and matching body numbers.

Originally delivered in Italy and owned by just three individuals since new, this is a truly pure and well-preserved F40. It is also the highly desirable non-cat, non-adjust version. In 2022, the car received its official Ferrari Classiche certification, confirming its authenticity and outstanding condition. The last major service, including replacement of the fuel tanks, was performed in 2021 at 11,218 kilometres.

Although the photos give a good impression, we dare to say that this F40 is even more beautiful in real life.
