The Lexus LFA is without doubt one of the most special and technically impressive supercars of its generation. Developed without compromise and built in extremely limited numbers, the LFA has grown into an icon thanks to its unique engineering, exceptional V10 engine and unmistakable character.

This particular example from 2011 was originally delivered new in Kuwait and has had just two owners from new. Having covered only 18,264 kilometres, the car remains in exceptional condition, is completely accident free and retains its original factory paintwork. At the heart of the LFA lies its naturally aspirated 4.8 litre V10, developed in collaboration with Yamaha. Producing 560 HP, the engine is renowned for its incredibly sharp throttle response and unmistakable sound. The V10 revs so quickly that a conventional analogue rev counter could not respond fast enough, leading Lexus to develop a fully digital instrument display.

The construction of the LFA was equally groundbreaking for Lexus. Much of the body and chassis structure is made from carbon fibre reinforced plastic, reducing weight while creating an exceptionally rigid platform. Combined with the centrally positioned engine, rear mounted transaxle transmission and precisely tuned chassis, the result is a supercar focused not only on outright performance, but also on driver engagement and precision.

With only 500 examples produced worldwide, the LFA ranks among the rarest and most recognisable supercars of its era. Its naturally aspirated V10, distinctive design and uncompromising development have secured the LFA a very special place in modern automotive history.
