Ferrari 599 GTO V12 – Rosso Scuderia

The limited Ferrari 599 GTO (Gran Turismo Omologato) is the most performance-oriented version of the 599 GTB. It is a road-legal development of the Ferrari 599XX. Ferrari introduced the model in April 2010 at the Beijing International Motor Show. The GTO weighs almost one hundred kilograms less than the standard 599 GTB. Ferrari achieved this by using carbon fibre for several components, including the front splitter, side skirts, dual rear diffuser and various interior elements such as parts of the console, dashboard and seats. This reduction in weight makes the GTO more than one second faster than the Enzo at the Fiorano circuit. Shifting behaviour, steering response and throttle response all feel more direct and more focused.
