In our opinion, the best of "The Holy Trinity," a nickname for the McLaren P1, Ferrari LaFerrari, and Porsche 918 Spyder! We've had the privilege of driving all three, and the P1 clearly stands out as the best "all-rounder." Limited to just 375 units worldwide, we are proud to have one in stock!
The hand-assembled P1 was developed to deliver unparalleled aerodynamic performance. Its striking design features a low body, a relatively long rear end, and a distinctive open mesh rear styling. It is built around a lightweight carbon monocoque chassis weighing just 90kg, complemented by thinner glass and exposed carbon elements inside and out. These material choices result in a total weight of only 1,395kg.
The P1 is powered by a 3.8L (3,799 cc) twin-turbo V8 engine. The twin turbos boost the petrol engine with 1.4 bar to deliver 737 hp at 7,500 rpm and 720 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. Combined with an in-house developed McLaren electric motor producing 179 hp and 260 Nm of torque, the P1 delivers a total power output of 916 hp and an astonishing 900 Nm of torque. The electric motor can be manually activated by the driver or left in automatic mode, where the car’s ECUs fill in the power gaps of the petrol engine, eliminating turbo lag. This gives the drivetrain an effective powerband of almost 7,000 rpm. The rear-wheel-drive P1 is equipped with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission developed by Graziano Trasmissioni.
Power for the electric motor is stored in a 324-cell high-density lithium-ion battery pack located behind the cabin, developed by Johnson Matthey Battery Systems. The battery can be charged by the engine or via a 220V charger, with a full charge taking just two hours. The P1 can be driven using the petrol engine, the electric motor, or a combination of both. It offers a fully electric range of at least 10 km, though the official EV mode range is 31 km—not that most P1 drivers would care about this!
The P1 incorporates Formula 1-derived features, such as the Instant Power Assist System (IPAS) for immediate acceleration via the electric motor, a Drag Reduction System (DRS) to adjust the rear wing for higher straight-line speeds, and a KERS function. IPAS and DRS are controlled via two buttons on the steering wheel. Switchable driving modes include "Race" mode, which lowers the hydraulic suspension and raises the rear wing to generate up to 600 kg of downforce.
Performance figures are staggering: the P1 accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 2.8 seconds, 0–200 km/h in 6.8 seconds, and 0–300 km/h in 16.5 seconds—5.5 seconds faster than the legendary F1. A standing quarter mile is claimed to take 9.8 seconds at 245 km/h.
To manage this immense power, the P1 is equipped with factory-installed Pirelli P-Zero Corsa tires and specially developed ceramic brake discs, calipers, and pads from Akebono.

This particular P1 comes from its second owner and is finished in MSO Mercury Silver, a bespoke color available exclusively through McLaren Special Operations at a premium of over €30,000. Many exterior parts are carbon fiber, and the car includes the optional Stealth Pack and Stealth wheels. The Akebono brake calipers in "McLaren orange" pair beautifully with the subtle orange stitching in the interior. The interior also features matte carbon accents, black nappa leather, and sporty Alcantara for a refined yet athletic look.
This P1 has only been dealer-maintained and retains its original paint. Given that its predecessor, the McLaren F1, is now valued in the tens of millions, the P1's limited production numbers make it a strong candidate for significant value appreciation in the future.
